European Commission- SPORT

European Commission Sport
- The Sport unit coordinates the implementation of EU activities in the field of sport. The Unit is in charge of the implementation and overall coordination of the 'Pierre de Coubertin' Action Plan, which accompanies the White Paper on Sport in cooperation with other Commission Directorates- General. It contributes to political co-operation among EU Member States in the field of sport, maintains a structured dialogue with the sports movement and supports the exchange of good practice. www.ec.europa.eu/sport

Fundingpoint.ie helps the voluntary and community sector in Ireland fundraise. It provides information and funding sources available to voluntary and community organisations as well as a range of online tools for tracking down funds. The Physical Education Association of Ireland ("PEAI") wsa set up to improve standards and performance within Physical Education ("P.E") by providing members with opportunities and materials for professional growth.
